Everyday delights

Still life, mostly things worth eating.

About

The last time I painted was in 2018, my senior year of high school. Every time I thought about picking it back up, I found an excuse — no supplies, no space, no inspiration, no time. It wasn't until my 25th birthday, when I'd become depressed at an old job, that I realized I needed a creative outlet again.

Returning to oil painting helped me regulate the stress I was feeling at work — even if the end product isn't what I plan, I experience a joyful sense of accomplishment with each one. Now, as a co-founder and CTO of a startup, I can push myself in both my work and my art. I hope these paintings remind others how beautiful the everyday things in life really are.

This is a temporary site I created in 30 minutes to make my art public. I want to create an official site to purchase paintings and prints when I have the time!
